I previously worked at the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) for 17 years, as Senior Environmental Advisor in the Environmental and Sustainability Department.

My main responsibility was management of environmental and social due diligence on investment projects, including environmental and social audits, impact assessments, development of corrective action plans and monitoring their implementation.

I also managed industrial energy efficiency projects, energy audits, technical assistance projects and training programmes for bankers and financial intermediary partners and their consultants.

I have extensive project experience in iron, steel and other metallurgical industries, inorganic and petrochemical industries, shipbuilding and vehicle manufacture, including railway wagons, locomotives, trucks and passenger vehicles.

In the area of infrastructure development, I have conducted due diligence on motorway, railway, airport and seaport construction and reconstruction, public transport, district heating, waste disposal, water supply and sewage treatment system modernisation projects.

Prior to EBRD I worked in industrial research centres, government offices, international consultancy and at the United Nations Industrial Development Organisation (UNIDO).

The geographical distribution of the above projects is quite diverse - I have worked on projects in Albania, Armenia, Azerbaijan, Bosnia Herzegovina, Bulgaria, China, Croatia, Czech Republic, Hungary, India, Iraq, Jamaica, Kazakhstan, Kosovo, Latvia, Lithuania, FYR Macedonia, Montenegro, Poland, Russia, Romania, Serbia, Slovakia, Slovenia, Turkey, and Ukraine.

My working languages are English and Hungarian and I also speak Russian and German and understand French.
